lib32mpx2 software package provides Intel memory protection extensions (32bit), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install lib32mpx2
lib32mpx2 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the lib32mpx2 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep lib32mpx2 *
You will get with lib32mpx2 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
